The eight-story post-tension concrete project includes 16,000 square feet of street-level retail space and one level of below-grade parking. 2009 8th Street will feature amenities such as a green roof, lobby lounge with 2 fireplaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. This will be supported by a complete CO/NO system in the garage area. The HVAC will consist of 2 Daikin VRV systems, 1 OA RTU (AAON) unit, 132 Carrier Air Cooled DX Split Systems, (2) 6 stories grease duct risers for future use and 2 B-Vent risers to accommodate the fireplaces. Kitchen, dryer and bathroom exhaust risers tied into dryer exhaust fans on the roof for vertical discharge.
